What is Mental Training?
Mental training is the education and implementation of mental skills and techniques grounded in sport psychology that are designed to aid in athletic and personal performance. Examples of these skills and techniques include, but are not limited to: stress management, confidence building, imagery, and transitioning throughout the athletic career. An aspect of mental training involves identifying and understanding the interactions between self-awareness, what we think, how we feel, and how we perform.
